Engineers with the Texas Department of Transportation will provide detailed updates on the Highway 39 expansion project to Ingram city staff and officials with the Ingram Independent School District Wednesday evening in an open forum.
The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at the Ingram City Hall and will be open to the public. After a brief presentation on the project’s project, questions will be answered in an open forum.
The nearly two-year-long project began in January and will expand Hwy 39 to include a dedicated left-turn lane, bike lanes and sidewalks between the intersection of Texas Highway 27 and Ingram Dam. The project cost is estimated at nearly $8.6 million.
