The weather has cleared up for this upcoming work on the direct connectors that will require full closures on both the southbound and the northbound direction on US 281 mainlanes from Saturday (October 27, 2018) at 2 a.m. to Monday (October 29, 2018) at 5 a.m.
The closures are as follows:
1. On the US 281 southbound mainlanes from Sonterra Blvd. Exit Ramp to Donella Entrance Ramp that includes the following detour: taking the Sonterra Blvd. Exit Ramp, driving along southbound frontage road through intersections at LP 1604 & Donella Drive, and using the Donella Entrance Ramp.
2. On the US 281 northbound mainlanes from Frontage Road Exit Ramp to Sonterra Entrance Ramp that includes the following detour: taking Frontage Road Exit Ramp, taking a right on LP 1604 eastbound frontage road, if heading north: use the turnaround at Gold Canyon Road and take a right at the northbound frontage road, if heading west: driving along eastbound frontage road through intersections at Gold Canyon Road, use the turnaround at Redland Road, take the Redland Road Entrance Ramp, and use the Stone Oak Parkway Exit Ramp.
Off-Duty Police will be used to assist with traffic control, as needed.
