Heads-up to the many drivers in our area who go through the perennially busy intersection of US 281 and Loop 1604.
There's an important development on the US 281 Segment 1 Expansion Project (from Loop 1604 to Stone Oak Parkway).
During this time, Loop 1604 westbound frontage road traffic should continue west, turn left on the US 281 southbound frontage road then turn left again onto the Loop 1604 eastbound frontage road.
As always, we must note that this scheduled long-term closure is weather permitting and subject to change. We appreciate your patience as we keep making great progress on this major project and improve the safety of this interchange.
