UPCOMING SCHEDULED CONSTRUCTION CLOSURES

 


Loop 1604 – North East San Antonio/Bexar County

  • Monday, June 21 until Tuesday, June 22. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Single southbound mainlane closure from I-35 to Shin Oak Dr. for traffic switch. The following ramps will also be closed: Southbound exit ramp from I-35 southbound; southbound exit ramp to Pat Booker Rd., and; southbound exit ramp before Pat Book Rd.
  • Tuesday, June 22 until Friday, June 25. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of the Pat Booker Rd. intersection at Loop 1604 for bridge work. 

FM 1560 – Hausman Road

  • Monday, June 21 until Friday, June 25. 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Single lane closures from SH 16 to Loop 1604 for paving operations. 

Loop 1604 – South San Antonio/Bexar County

  • Tuesday, June 22. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Northbound and southbound exit ramps to Loop 1604 closed for sign work. 

Loop 1604 – North West San Antonio/Bexar County

  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, July 2. Weeknights 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating eastbound mainlane closures from Hausman Rd. to Babcock Rd., including the entrance ramp from Kyle Seale Parkway and exit ramp to Babcock Rd., for mainlane striping and barrier setting. DETOURS: Traffic will be directed to use the entrance ramp after the Babcock intersection and the exit ramp before Hausman Rd.
  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, July 2. Weeknights 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating eastbound mainlane closures from Babcock Rd. to I-10, including the exit ramp to La Cantera Parkway, for barrier setting. DETOURS: Traffic will be directed to use the exit before Babcock Rd.
  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, July 2. Weeknights 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating westbound mainlane closures from I-10 to Babcock Rd., including the exit ramp to La Cantera Parkway and the entrance ramp from I-10, for barrier setting. DETOUR: Traffic will be directed to the exit ramp before La Cantera Parkway.
  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, July 2. Weeknights 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating westbound mainlane closures from Babcock Rd. to Hausman Rd., including the entrance ramp from Babcock Rd. and exit ramp to Kyle Seale Parkway, for barrier setting. DETOUR: Traffic will be directed to the entrance ramp after Hausman Rd. and the exit ramp before Babcock Rd.
  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, July 2. Weeknights 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating westbound mainlane closures from Hausman Rd. to SH 16 (Bandera Rd.), including the entrance ramp from Hausman Rd. and the exit ramp to SH 16 (Bandera Rd.), for barrier setting. DETOUR: Traffic will be diverted to the entrance ramp after Bandera Rd. and the exit ramp before Kyle Seale Parkway.
  • Monday, June 21 until Friday, June 25. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Single northbound mainlane closure, including single lane closure on frontage road, at Braun Rd. for barrier setting. 

US 281 – North Central San Antonio/Bexar County

  • Friday, June 18 until Monday, June 28. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of Borgfeld Rd. at US 281 intersection for roadway improvements.
  • Friday, June 18. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Alternating northbound lane closures from Bulverde Rd. to Cibolo Creek for pavement markings and traffic switch.
  • Saturday, June 19. 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single southbound lane closure at Overlook Parkway for sidewalk improvements. 

I-10 – Northwest San Antonio/Bexar County 

  • Sunday, June 27 until Friday, July 2. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Double westbound mainlane closure from UTSA Blvd. to Loop 1604 for mill and overlay work. 

I-10 – Far East San Antonio/Bexar County/Seguin/Guadalupe County 

  • Monday, June 21 until Tuesday, June 22. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of westbound mainlanes from FM 1516 to Weichold Rd. for bridge work. DETOUR: Traffic will exit I-10 at Loop 1604 and re-enter at next entrance.
  • Monday, June 21 until Friday, June 25. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Eastbound left lane closure at Loop 1604 for overpass work.
  • Monday, June 21 until Monday, July 5. Eastbound entrance ramp from FM 1518 closed for roadway improvements.
  • Sunday, June 27 until Friday, July 2. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of eastbound mainlanes at Loop 1604 for overpass work. DETOUR: Traffic will exit I-10 at Loop 1604 and re-enter at next entrance.
  • Current until further notice. Graytown Road closed at I-10. DETOURS: Graytown Road traffic may use the frontage road and the Pfeil Road underpass or Loop 1604 turnaround to cross I-10.
  • Current until further notice. Eastbound entrance ramp from Foster Road closed. DETOUR: Take the next entrance ramp east of Woodlake Parkway. 

I-35 – Central San Antonio/Northeast San Antonio/New Braunfels/Comal County

  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, June 25. Nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Double northbound mainlane closure from FM 1103 to Schwab Rd. for milling and overlay work.
  • Sunday, June 20 until Friday, June 25. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Double southbound mainlane closure from FM 1103 to Schwab Rd. for milling and overlay work.
  • Monday, June 21 until Saturday, June 26. Daily 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Single lane closure on northbound frontage road from FM 2252 to FM 1103 for material haul-off.
  • Monday, June 21 until Saturday, June 26. Daily 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Single lane closure on southbound frontage road from FM 1103 to FM 2252 for material haul-off.
  • Monday, June 21 until Saturday, June 26. Daily 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Single lane closure on northbound frontage road from FM 1103 to Schwab Rd. for curb demolition.

  • Current until Monday, June 21. 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of mainlanes, in both directions, from Marbach Rd. to W. Military Dr. for bridge work.
  • Current until Monday, June 21. 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of intersection at Culebra Rd. for bridge work.
  • Current until Monday, June 21. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Alternating lane closures on frontage roads, in both directions, from Marbach Rd. to Bandera Rd. for bridge work.
  • Current until Monday, June 21. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Alternating mainlane closures, in both directions, from Marbach Rd. to Ingram Rd. for bridge work.

I-410 – South West San Antonio

  • Current until Saturday, June 26. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Single northbound lane closure from Flair Dr. to Aldrich Dr. for sidewalk improvements. 

SH 151 – West San Antonio

  • Current until Monday, June 21. 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of westbound frontage road at Loop 410 for bridge work.
  • Current until Monday, June 21. 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of eastbound frontage road from Cable Ranch Rd. to Loop 410 for bridge work.
  • Current until Monday, June 21. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Alternating lane closures on eastbound frontage road from Loop 410 to Ingram Rd. for bridge work.
  • Monday, June 21 until Monday, June 28. Nightly. 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of westbound frontage road at Loop 410 for bridge work.
  • Monday, June 21 until Monday, June 28. Nightly 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Full closure of eastbound frontage road from Cable Ranch Rd. to Loop 410 for beam setting. 

US 90 – West San Antonio

  • Wednesday, June 23 until Thursday, June 24. 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Single eastbound mainlane closure at W. Military Dr. 

Alamo Ranch Parkway – Bexar County

  • Friday, June 25 – 10 p.m. to Monday, June 28 – 5 a.m. Full closure of the Westwood Loop intersection for placement of bridge beams.
  • Friday, July 9 – 10 p.m. to Monday, July 12 5 a.m. Full closure of the Westwood Loop intersection for placement of bridge beams.
  • Friday, July 16 – 10 p.m. to Monday, July 19 5 a.m. Full closure of the Westwood Loop intersection for placement of bridge beams.

FM 1535 – N.W. Military Highway

  • Monday, June 21 until Friday, June 25. Daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single northbound lane closure from End Gate Lane to Loop 1604 for right of way preparation.   

Fredericksburg Road – Bexar County

  • Current until Saturday, June 26. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Single eastbound lane closure from Cliff Oaks to Callaghan Rd. for driveway and sidewalk improvements.

SL 13 – Military Dr.

  • Current until Saturday, June 26. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Single eastbound lane closure from Quintana Rd. to Somerset Rd. for driveway and sidewalk improvements. 

FM 1976 – Walzem Road/Gibbs Sprawl Road

  • Current until further notice. Daily 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Alternating southbound lanes between Woodlake Parkway and Gibbs Sprawl Road for barrier/pavement work (existing seven total lanes narrowed to three, with one in each direction and a two-way turn lane in the middle).
  • Current until further notice. Full-day closure. Southbound lane between Toepperwein Road and Walzem Road for barrier setting work and road rehab work. 

I-10 – Kerr County

  • Tuesday, June 22. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Single westbound mainlane closure at FM 783 for bridge repairs.
