Wurzbach Parkway - the rest of the road

Williams Brothers' plan to set bridge support beams over U.S. 281 isn't the only work item along the Parkway; while bridge crews are preparing for that work, dirt crews are building roadway base for the westbound frontage road between U.S. 281 and West Avenue and concrete crews are forming and pouring structures at a number of locations - including alond U.S. 281.

The bridge beams work is discussed in yesterday's post. Today we'll talk about the rest of the road.

We've got electricians and utility crews working on a variety of tasks along the parkway, including the intersections of West Avenue and Wurzbach Parkway and at Jones-Maltsberger and Wurzbach Parkway. We've also got crews building drain inlets along the frontage roads of Hwy. 281.

On the east end of the parkway, Texas Sterling Construction crews are focusing on the Mud Creek area and finishing work at the intersection of Starcrest and Wurzbach. The eastern segment is still on track to finish this fall.
