Next week's construction-related closures

I-10 – Downtown San Antonio
  • Monday, August 17-Friday, September 4. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, weekdays only. Eastbound frontage road between Martin and Houston streets. The left lane will close while crews do overhead bridge work.
I-10 – Northwest San Antonio
  • Sunday-Friday, August 16-21. 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. nightly. Frontage road, both directions between Loop 1604 and Huebner Road. Alternating lanes will close for road work.
  • Sunday-Friday, August 16-21. 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. nightly. Main lanes, both directions, between Huebner Road and Loop 1604. Alternating lanes will close for road work.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. Frontage road, both directions, between Loop 1604 and Huebner Road. Alternating lanes will close for road work.
I-10 – Leon Springs/Fair Oaks Ranch
  • Tuesday-Wednesday, August 18-19. 9:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Frontage roads, both directions, at Ralph Fair Road. Signals will be out while crews install a new control cabinet and detection system. Traffic will be controlled by officers at the intersections.
I-35 – East San Antonio
  • Sunday-Friday, August 16-21. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Main lanes, both directions, between Binz-Engleman and AT&T Parkway. Alternating lanes will close, two at a time, while crews do road work.
  • Sunday-Friday, August 16-21. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Turnarounds, both directions, at Salado Creek. The turnarounds will close while crews work on bridge support structures.
  • Sunday-Friday, August 16-21. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Northbound frontage road between AT&T Parkway and Salado Creek. Alternating lanes will close while crews pour concrete.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Northbound frontage road between AT&T Parkway and Salado Creek. Alternating lanes will close while crews pour concrete.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Southbound frontage road between Binz-Engleman and AT&T Parkway. Alternating lanes will close while crews drill foundation shafts.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily. Turnarounds, both directions, at Salado Creek. The turnarounds will close while crews work on bridge support structures.
I-410 – Southeast San Antonio
  • Sunday-Wednesday, August 16-19. 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Northbound main lanes between Rigsby and Southcross. All lanes will close while crews do asphalt work. Traffic will exit Rigsby, continue along the frontage road, and use the next available ramp to re-enter the highway.
I-410 – Southwest San Antonio
  • Sunday-Monday, August 16-17. 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Southbound main lanes between Freeport Road and I-35. The right lane will close while crews pour concrete.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. Southbound frontage road between Freeport and Quintana roads. The left lane will close for excavation.
U.S. Hwy 90 – Downtown San Antonio
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Westbound exit ramps to I-35. The ramps will close, as will the right lane of U.S. Hwy 90, while crews do repair work. Traffic headed to northbound I-35 will exit Cupples, turn around, exit Nogalitos, turn left onto Powell Street and enter the northbound I-35 ramp. Traffic to Southbound I-35 will exit Cupples, turn around and exit southbound I-35.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Eastbound exit ramp to northbound I-35. The ramp will close while crews do repair work. Traffic headed to northbound I-35 will exit I-35 south and turn around at W. Theo Avenue.
U.S. Hwy 281 – North-central San Antonio
  • Friday-Sunday, August 14-16. 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Northbound main lanes at Wurzbach Parkway. All lanes will close while crews work on concrete median barrier. Traffic will exit Bitters Road and re-enter the highway before reaching Bitters.
Hwy 151
  • Monday-Saturday, August 17-22. 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. Westbound main lanes between Callaghan and Wiseman roads. The left lane will close while crews install cable median barrier.
Loop 1604 – Northwest San Antonio
  • Monday-Sunday, August 17-23. 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly. Southbound frontage road between Braun Road and Shaenfield. The right lane will close while crews work on curb and sidewalk.
Other roads – Medical Center
  • Sunday-Sunday, August 16-23. 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Medical Drive, both directions, between Ewing Halsell and Fairhaven Street. Alternating lanes will close while crews do road work.
  • Sunday-Sunday, August 16-23. 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Fredericksburg Road, both directions, between Louis Pasteur and Data Point. Alternating lanes will close while crews do road work.
Other roads – Northwest San Antonio
  • Saturday, August 15. 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. continuous. Braun Road, both directions, at Loop 1604. All lanes will close while crews do overhead bridge work. Traffic will turn right onto Loop 1604, use the next available turnaround and return to the intersection to reach its destination. This closure schedule is a change from last week’s announcement.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. Culebra Road, both directions, between Les Harrison Drive and Selene Drive. The left lane will close in each direction while crews build a raised center median.
  • Monday-Friday, August 17-21. 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Braun Road, both directions, at Loop 1604. All lanes will close while crews do overhead bridge work. Traffic will turn right onto Loop 1604, use the next available turnaround and return to the intersection to reach its destination.
  • Friday-Saturday, August 21-22. 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly. Braun Road, both directions, at Loop 1604. All lanes will close while crews do overhead bridge work. Traffic will turn right onto Loop 1604, use the next available turnaround and return to the intersection to reach its destination.
