OPENING OF STONE OAK PARKWAY INTERSECTION AT US 281

Now that the US 281 mainlanes north of Stone Oak Parkway have opened, we are thrilled to announce that the Stone Oak/Tournament Players Club (TPC) Parkway underpass intersection at US 281 will follow this weekend, the evening of Saturday, May 8. 

Opening the Stone Oak Parkway intersection under US 281 will allow drivers to cross from one side of Stone Oak Parkway to the other with both east- and westbound lanes of Stone Oak/Tournament Players Club (TPC) Parkway along with both the north- to southbound and south- to northbound turnarounds moving onto the frontage roads. The conversion of this intersection will include pedestrian access.

CONVERSION OF THE ENCINO RIO INTERSECTION AT US 281

 

As we continue to make progress in the area, we are glad to report the conversion of the Encino Rio intersection at US 281 to a conventional intersection with the inclusion of the southbound US 281 left turn lane to eastbound Encino Rio beginning Saturday, Jan. 23. 

This turn lane will allow southbound drivers to access Encino Rio heading east, while maintaining all existing US 281 turnarounds heading both north- and south, frontage road lanes, as well as the westbound left turn lane to southbound US 281 within the intersection.
